During this year’s BC Thanksgiving Food Drive, 4878 pounds of food were collected by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Between the efforts of Surrey 1st Ward and Surrey 2nd Spanish Ward, over 300 volunteer hours collected 433 bags. These bags were delivered during the week and collected on Saturday the 23rd by dozens of volunteers. These important donations will provide the Surrey Food Bank with much needed inventory for families and individuals in need this fall season, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet due to inflation. If you are able to contribute, please consider doing so.
